the meals were really good, even tho i lived off sandwiches all the time they were good and the kitchen staff were awesome, they had a vending machine and that was good as well

Did they supplement? How did that system work?
they only supplemented if u came in with an ED, one nurse would make his own version of shakes and they would have eggs, ensure, full fat dairy, flavouring and every sort of crap under the sun, i never had one but they don’t sound nice, they don’t tube because i don’t think they are liscenced to do it

What privelages are allowed?
if the psych feels you are a danger to yourself u can b put on 10, 15 or 30 minute observations when a nurse checks on u at the time intervals, when ur on them ur not allowed out at all, only in the courtyard, u can have everything else tho such as mobile phones, laptops, nearly all rooms r single with an ensuite apart from the shared rooms,

Does it work on a level system?
no

As they aren’t an ED centre they don’t supplement, if the Dr deems that you’re not eating they will order in Sustagen

What privelages are allowed?
TV in each room, laptops, mobile phones, DVDs (must be checked by nurses), smoking area, leave if allowed,

Does it work on a level system?

Do you get to know your weight?
I refused to get weighed on admission, but if you’re an ED pt once a week so you don’t obsess about it, it depends on your vitals as well

How fast is the weight gain process?
Depends on how willing you are to comply

What was the average length of stay?
Depends on your diagnosis, some only stay a week, some stay for 3-4 months

What was the average age range?
16-late 70

They have DBT, CBT, adolescent groups, supporters group twice a month, OP psychologist, can choose to work 1:1 with the OT, plus meeting with your psychiatrist as needed,

How many IP beds? How many patients in PHP or IOP?
31 IP beds, but you can come back as day patient,

Insurance
Usually your insurance depends on who your with, most companies cover the majority, you only have to pay for medications, and my insurance makes us pay $20 per day but it’s worth it, if you’re there for long enough they will stop you paying the extra
