I was here at the end of 2023, and I believe they are actually still open. They just closed the adolescent program and shifted to an adult program. I was one of the first clients there after they made that shift. I haven’t called to verify if they are still open, but I looked it up and everything points to that they’re still open, just no longer an adolescent program.
I really hope they are still in operation because, even though I couldn’t stay (for reasons that had nothing to do with them, just personal stuff which impeded my ability to be in any treatment at the time), they were really promising and were determined not to make the mistakes that the majority of programs out there do. I was blown away and so grateful for the approach they took. I’ve been to a lot of programs and my experiences have ranged from mediocre at best to downright traumatic. This place was so different and special. I really felt that, even though I couldn’t stay in treatment myself at the time, they could potentially be a game changer for the treatment system and stand as an example for other treatment centers to follow. So I really hope they are still doing what they do. If not, that is very saddening and a genuine loss for eating disorder treatment and all those that could greatly benefit from they’re approach.
(Just to add, I wanna be clear, they’re not perfect, because nothing and nowhere is. But they are different, in a very positive way. They were extremely willing/open to shifting, altering in their approach and as professionals based on what was best for the client. They wanted to be better, and they care so much, all the way to the top, and that’s admirable. That in itself is better than most of what is out there, as my personal experience has shown.)
Would you be able to do a full review that answers all the questions in the template?
Just called them today, they no longer treat EDs. Mental health only now.
Just called today, said they are permanently closed 🙁
I called yesterday and they are temporarily closed for all ED programming
Any reviews on this place? Possibly from 2024/25 adult 25+ only I know lots of places cap at 25 years old but I’m 27. I am looking for a full review if possible

Thank you for the update! I will update the page as soon as I can. In the meantime people will see your post, thank you again! Ever since the global tech outage a week ago our site crashes whenever I update anything —- fingers crossed WordPress/hosting company will be back up to speed soon.

Do you think you could do one of the full reviews with the questions? I am looking at tx centers and am leaning towards Alsana, I have never even heard of this one but I wanted to see if I could find something different than the typical program, and your reply has given me a little hope lol.
Would you be able to do a full review that answers all the questions in the template? Thanks!!!
I called Trellis last week and they are closed indefinitely. The person who answered the phone worked for Montare behavioral health (?), which owns Trellis. She tried to recruit me to admit to one of their general MDD/GAD residential, told me all of the horrors of ED treatment and why I should avoid it (as if I don’t know them), but then ultimately referred me to Alsana.
That’s odd, thanks for letting me know!
also wondering if they shifted to treat adults, as the doctor listed is a pediatrician
Any reviews on this place? It looks like it’s now an Adult Inpatient program but not finding much more information.
