I was in Bellatore’s intensive outpatient program for two months after stepping down from a higher level of care. IOP is every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening from 4:30 to 7:30. The schedule was two groups, dinner, and a post meal processing group. Groups included process group, nutrition education, DBT, yoga, and a creative/art sort of group, I forget the technical name. Dinner is catered Monday evenings, it rotates between Jimmy John’s, Brewbakers (bar food) and SPIN pizza. The other two days you bring your dinner, and it is checked off by the dietitian to assure it fits your exchanges/meal plan. Meals were thirty minutes, if you couldn’t finish for whatever reason, they supplemented with Boost plus. They do not take insurance, but will provide you super bills to submit to them, and I had good luck being reimbursed.
The clinicians at Bellatore are all amazing. You have to be in a pretty solid recovery space to benefit from Bellatore’s IOP, but if that is your situation I highly, highly recommend it. It was just what I needed to keep me on track and moving forward in my recovery while also allowing me to have the freedom to practice living in recovery without being in a treatment center all day everyday.
