Without EDCASA I would not be where I am today in recovery. As of now EDCASA offers a Partial Hospitalization Program which is an 11 hour day 5-6 days a week with groups based on DBT, nutrition group, art therapy, gardening, monitored yoga, cooking group once a week where patients as a group with a nutritionist and therapist all cook a meal and eat the same thing, all meals and snacks with PHP are monitored. Everyday patients set a goal with the group and later at the end of the day review that goal and reflect on the day. Weight and vitals are taken daily, patients are seen by a physician and psychiatrist weekly and patients attend weekly private sessions with a nutritionist and therapist and families attend weekly family therapy.
In IOP intensive Outpatient Program patients attend 1-4 days a week for 3-5hrs depending on individual needs. Patients attend body image group, art therapy, monitored snack and dinner. weight and vitals are monitored and patienrs attend individual therapy, nutrition sessions, and family therapy .
Then there is OP outpatient therapy. Where if needed patients weight and vitals are monitored and patients meet with an individual therapist.
I believe EDCASA has a well diversed staff who are constantly attending to patients needs. One has to keep in mind that EDCASA is not a full hospitalization program so accountability especially in the later stages of the program is expected. But if one is not being truthful it is usually obvious to staff. personally I believe EDCASA is a great option for treatment.
