They closed their program and reopened a PHP with major revisions early this year.
I’ve been speaking with the clinical director about admission who designed the program. He’s also actually also the RD and eats meals with patients. They take Medicare and MediCal. She has tried to make it as real world as possible. They have a kitchen and everyone prepares (under supervision and guidance) and eats unique meals based with respect to cultural and taste preferences. Some are on meal plans based on exchanges and others may be on something similar to intuitive eating. It sounds incredibly individualized!
Unfortunately, they do not have housing for those out of town.
That’s all I know so far. If anyone has been to the program in 2015, I’d greatly appreciate a full review!
