I was there in December last year. They are not trained in eating disorders at all. Officially they have a special unit for Ed’s, but when I was there they told me I was the only client with an Ed so it wasn’t worth it for them to have the Ed unit open. They put me on the Geriatric unit because I needed to be medically monitored, and I was the only young person on the unit (I was 19). They basically let me get away with restricting and using Ed behaviors. I had to transfer to another hospital. I transferred to Southern Hills hospital and they were a lot better; they aren’t a fully Ed focused unit, just a regular psych ward, but a lot more professional and on top of things than seven hills. Would not recommend seven hills at all. Good luck!

Anyone been here? Is this comparable to Denver Acute’s medical stabilization? Or basically just a regular hospital inpatient program? Any info would help, thanks!!
